Ameer Muaviyah

Ameer Muaviyah is a companion as well as relative and from in-laws of the Prophet, as it will described later in the book. Hence in introduction some important points about companions and Ahle bait are mentioned. These should be read with concentration before reading further so that the book can be of complete benefit.

Sahabi:
2) In Islam, companionship of the prophet is highest rank. After the Prophet, companions have second rank. All the auliyas, aqtaab, abdaal, ghawth of the world could not reach the status of the dust of the companions as they got the blessed company of the Prophet. Complete proofs of this will be presented shortly.
Understand like this that, Gazi is the one who does jihad, Qari is the one who recites Quran, Namazi is the one who prays salah, who give islamic verdicts is a Qazi and who visits Kaabah is a Haji but the person who sees the blessed face of the Prophet is a sahabi. After the Prophet, there can be Haji, Gazi, Namazi, Qazi etc in muslims but no one can be a sahabi as that beloved gave us everything but took away his vision.
3) Total number of companions is 1.24 lac i.e. like the total number of the Prophets. Just like prophets are of different ranks similarly companions have different ranks. Almighty Allah says about Prophets:These are messengers! That in them We caused one to excel upon the other: to some of them Allah spoke:and some one is he who was raised high in degrees over-all (2:253)
and regarding companions, Almighty says : And what is to you, that you spend not in the way of Allah, whereas to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth altogether. Those of you who spent and fought before the victory of Mecca are not equal They are greater in rank than those who spent and fought after victory. And to all has Allah already promised the reward of the paradise. (57:10)
Among all angels there are four leaders, among all Prophets four have highest status i.e. Moosa, Dawood, Eesa and Muhammed (peace be upon them all) similarly in companions there are 4 companions who have highest honor i.e. rightly guided caliphs, Abu Bakr, Umar, Usman & Ali (Allah is pleased with them all), then 10 ashra-e-mubashsharah, then all of those who fought in Bad'r, then who fought in Uhud, then people who did bait-e-ridwan, then who did bait-e-Uqbah, then sabiqeen  i.e. those who prayed towards both Qiblas (Bait ul-Muqaddas & Kaabah), then people who accepted Islam on the day of conquest of Makkah and after that.
4) Virtues of rightly guided caliphs are innumerous. Their names are so close to the Prophet and Almight that, Subhan Allahi Laa Ilaaha Illallaah has 12 letters so does Muhammad ur-RasoolAllah, Abu Bakr as-Siddique, Umar Ibn al-Khattab, Usman Ibn Affan, Ali Ibn Abi Talib have 12 letters. The Prophet said : best is my generation. In this hadith Q is for Siddique Akbar, R is for Umar, N for Usman and Y points towards Ali as if their generation is the generation of the Prophet himself. Also, the age of the Prophet was 63 years similarly all these caliphs reached the age of 63 except Usman.
5) Just like every Prophet from 1.24 lakhs prophets has high rank over the world. All the prophets are similar in status but special virtues of some of them are mentioned in Quran and hadith. There are some who are mentioned only by name and there are many whose names are not known to the world, but believing in all of them is mandatory. Disrespecting any of them is disbelief.

Undoubtedly, those who lower down their voices in the presence of the messenger of Allah those are they whose hearts Allah has tested for piety. For them is forgiveness and great reward.(49:3)
7)He has made infidelity, and iniquity and disobedience hateful to you(49:7)
These qualities can not be of transgressors. All the prophets are infallible and all the companions are protected from transgression. Almighty has made sins hateful to them just like we hate filth.
8) Events reported by historians are 95% false and rubbish. A History book is reflection of its author. There are many castings by Shias and khwarijs. A person who tries to prove transgressing of a companion by historical events is accursed as Quran calls them righteous and just. Quran is correct and history is wrong. It is easy to accept the mistake of historian, muhaddith or narrator but believing in transgression of a companion is difficult as it is rejection of the Quran.
9) By considering companion a transgressor niether Quran can remain authentic nor we can trust ahadith. This means the whole religion will be disrupted. Almighty says about Quran : That high ranked Book (Quran) whereof there is no place of doubt, in it there is guidance to the God-fearing.(2:2)
It is evident that Quran can be considered free of doubt only when there is no doubt on Jibra'eel, he must be reliable so that he delivers Quran to the Prophet exactly, without any change, as given to him by Almighty Allah . Next, all the companions must be righteous, trustworthy, faithful and pious so as to deliver Quran to ummah, in exactly the same state, without any additions and deletions, as they took from the Prophet.
Just like it is necessary to consider Jibra'eel & the Prophet truthful, righteous and pious for the authenticity of Quran, similarly it is necessary to consider companions as righteous, reliable and trustworthy, because if these people are transgressors and immoral then the authenticity of Quran can not be established, then there will be possibility that companions may have done changes, additions and deletions in Quran.
For example, if Ameer Muaviyah is considered a transgressor and sinner, then He was writer of the revelation (Katib e Wahiyy) so there will be doubt that whether he wrote it correctly or not? Similarly if a companion is called wrongdoer then the verse of Quran narrated from him will become doubtful.
So, authenticity of Quran depends purely upon the faithfulness, righteousness, justness and reliability of the companions.
Almighty Allah revealed Quran in "reading" form unlike Torah and bible which were revealed in form of a book. The Prophet also didn't compile Quran in book form but left verses of Quran in dissipated form among his companions. Then Abu Bakr compiled Quran with the help of all companions so that all Muslims are forced to accept the piousness, righteousness and faithfulness of them.
This is the case with Quran, now with regard to hadith, it is clear that genuineness of hadith depends completely upon authenticity of the companions as whatever hadith we have received are received only through them.  If these people are transgressors then none of the hadith will be eligible to be accepted, as statements of a transgressor is not reliable.
10) Hearts of companions were free from hatred, malice and jealousy for each other. Quran describes their hearts by saying :  and those with him are hard against the infidels and tender among themselves (48:29)
When Almighty Allah himself is announcing that they are merciful to each other then how is it possible that they be enemy of each other? All the wars fought by companions were for the sake of Almighty Allah and not for person reasons. While some of the them had misunderstandings, others were on correct position. It was a "judgmental mistake" who committed the mistake due to misunderstandings which is not prohibited as per shariah. The clear proofs for this can be seen from following points:
i) Ali defeated mothers of believers A'isha in the battle of jamal. When her camel was taken down, she was not arrested instead with utmost respect and honor like a mother, she was sent back to Madinah Munawwarah. Neither her goods nor her soldiers were captured. When khawarij objected him that why did he leave her free after the capture, Ali replied : Ai'sha Siddiquah is our mother as per the command of Quran. Almighty Allah says : Forbidden to you are your mothers (4:23)
If this battle would be for person reasons and there would have been hatred for Aisha by Ali, then just one move of sword was enough. Why didn't he use his sword? How could he used his sword when battle was purely for the sake of truth and not for his self.
ii) During the battle between Ali and Ameer Mu'awiyah, Aqeel bin Abi Talib (brother of Ali) went to Ameer Mu'awiyah. Ameer Mu'awiyah gave him high respect and honor. He gifted him one lakh rupees* and fixed one lakh rupees* as his annual stipend. Aqeel bin Ali used to say : Religion is in favour of Ali.
iii) A poet recited a poetry in praise of Ali in front of Ameer Mu'awiyah in which Ali was praised very highly.
iv) Once Ameer Muaviyah met Imam Hasan, and told him that he wants to present him a gift which no one has gifted to any one else before. He presented him 4 lakhs rupees* as gift which Imam Hasan accepted.
Complete discussion of this will come later, in sha Allah. Recite those verses of Quran and listen to these events, then it will be affirmed that their fights was not for personal reasons but for the sake of Allah.
So the historical narration which says that companions had hatred for each for other, they used to swear at each other and their hearts were filled with malice for each other, that history itself is lie and that narration is wrong. Quran says they are merciful and passionate to each other. Quran is true and all those historical narrations which try to prove it false, are all false themselves.
Joke : There was debate between Shia and Sunni.
11) It is must and strongly necessary that we do not comment on the battles fought between companions and nor we consider them wrongdoers. We must consider them true and pious. If it becomes necessary to talk about it then keep in mind that Ali was caliph at that time, all the companions who came opposite to him had misunderstandings and revolted against him. Some of these companions recognized their mistake and did contrite later like Aisha and her people. Some didn't recognize their mistake till the end like Ameer Mu'aviyah and his supporters. But this battle was the battle of misunderstandings.
Rebel & Separatist :  Rebel is that group of Muslims who stand against a caliph because of misunderstandings and not because of personal reasons.Separatist are those who leave the obedience of the caliph and start doing violence and creating mischief. Islamic rulings on both of them are different.
A rebel can not be called a transgressor or a sinner. Quran has called them believers. The Prophet said regarding Imam Hasan: He will do reconciliation between two groups of Muslims. This is what exactly happened, Imam Hasan did reconciliation with Ameer Mu'awiyah and saved thousands of Muslim lives.
Separatist are hypocrites, transgressors an mischief makers. The Prophet told about the group who separated from Ali : They will pass through religion just like a bow passes from prey.
So, there is huge difference between rebel and separatist which should always be kept in mind. People with naharwani were separatist and Ameer Mu'awiyah, Aish'a and their people rebelled due to misunderstandings.
When Imam Hasan did reconciliation with Ameer Mu'awiyah then Ameer Mu'awiyah became leader of the Muslims. This is the stance of Ahlus Sunnah.
Anyways, wherever a companion is mentioned, it must be done with good taking care of their respect and honor.
Virtues of companions in light of Quran and Ahadith.
Theer are verses of surah Ahzab about virtues of wives of the Prophet and 19 verses of Surah Noor about her virtues and chastity. If I wouldnt have afraid of length of this booklet, I would have written all those verses and their explanations. Whoever wish to read it, he should go through my book 'Fehrist ul-Quran'.
Quran says:
In this verse Almighty has described about their worship, their bowing and prostrating and being merciful to each other etc. Along with this it gives the verdict of kufr  whosoever envy them or hate them. Quran has clearly termed enemies of companions as disbelief, please should learn a lesson from it.

In this verse Almighty called muhajireen companions as truthful.

5) And those who had established their home in this city and in faith from before, love those who emigrated to them, and find not in their breasts, any need for what they have been given and prefer them above their souls, even though they be badly in need of, and whoso is guarded against the avarice of his own soul, those they are the successful.
In this quran has given testimony of ansar companions of their faith, generosity, hospitality and success.

1) Sahabi is that fortunate muslim who saw one glimpse of the Prophet in state of iman and sanity or got his bless company and then died on islamic faith. Hence sons of the Prophet Ibrahim Tayyab and Taahir, who passed away in childhood are not companions, as they saw the Prophet in infancy when sanity is not developed.

Abdullah ibn Umme Maktoom is a blind companion, as even though he was blind and could not see the Prophet but he was blessed with the company of the Prophet.
People who died apostate after the demise of the Prophet, like people who believed in Musailima bin Kazzab (false prophet), are not sahabi as to be a sahabi, the condition is to die on islamic faith. But people who accepted islam after apostasy like Ash'as ibn Qais or people who rejected zakat during caliphate of Abu Bakr and later repented, are sahabi, as per opinion of most of scholars.

Similarly all the companions are equal in status but virtues of some of them are  mentioned in Quran and hadith. We could know only names of a few companions and we are unaware of names of most of them. But all are equal in companionship, giving them honor and respect to each of them is necessary. disrespecting any companion is a cause of great deprivation which is proved from Quran and hadith.

6) None of the companion is transgressor or immoral, all of them are pious and righteous. First of all they don't commit sin and even if they commit Almighty Allah blesses them with opportunity to repent. They present themselves in the court of the Prophet and say  : Make me pure O Prophet of Allah.
Companionship of the Prophet and transgression can not stay together just like light and darkness can not be together. Just like Prophet is infallible, similarly his companions are saved from transgression. Quran has testified their righteousness and promised them salvation and heavens.
Almighty says :  made incumbent on them the words of righteousness and they were better entitled to it and more worthy of it. (48:26)

they are free from what they are saying. For them is forgiveness and honorable provision.(24:26)

And Allah has promised good to all (4:95)
It is they who are truthful (49:15)
Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Allah.(5:119)

Now tell us, how can you be a Muslim by considering companions as sinners? If first rail coach, which is attached to the engine gets derailed then how can later coaches can remain safe? Companions are first coach of Islam who are directly attached to the Prophet. If their faith is not correct then none of the Muslim till the day of judgement can have correct faith.

If dont consider her your mother then you are kafir, if you want to keep her as slave knowing that she is our mother, then also you are kafir.

If this was a personal fight then why this conduct?

Ameer Mu'awiyah used to become extremely happy at each sentence and would say : Infact Ali is like this. At the end of poetry he gifted the poet 7000 ashrafi as prize.

Someone asked: O Ameer, when you are such a lover of Ali then why are you fighting him? He replied: This is not religious fight but a political fight i.e. for the murder of Usman Ghani.

<>>>>

Sunni asked Shia: as per you Abu Bakr and Umar are being tormented or they are in peace?

Shia replied they are being tormented.
Sunni asked: Almighty Allah says : And Allah is not one to chastise them, till ('O beloved Prophet) you are in their midst. (8:33)
When presence of the Prophet doesn't let torment to happen, then how is it possible that these two, who sleeping in the lap of the Prophet and the Prophet is with them, can be tormented? Also how is it possible that hell fire can reach the under green dome, where 70 thousands angles send blessings each moment. If Abu Bakr and Umar are being tormented (may Allah forbid) then it must be accepted that the blessed green dome is filled with fire.
Shia couldn't speak further.

Regarding rebels Quran says :

And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah . And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice (49:9)

A baaghi (rebel) is a word of disrespect in urdu hence it should not be used for Ameer Mu'awiyah, his people or any other companion. In our language rebel means a traitor and an enemy of people and country. The ruling changes with the change of terminology.

There are numerous quranic verses and ahadith in the honor of the companions. These verses and ahadith are of two types. Type one is which mentions a specific companion like 4 verses of quran regarding caliphate of Abu Bakr, 12 verses on his virtues, 4 verses in  praise of Umar and 15 verses of surah Duhar in virtues of Ali, Imam Hasan, Imam Hussain and Fatimah al-Zahra.

Second type of verses are ahadith which are for all the companions. These are also numerous. We present a few of them briefly here. Readers should think about the command of almighty Allah and ponder over that, with such a great honor he has mentioned piousness, purity, faith, honesty, truthfulness, trustworthiness and courtesy of the companions.

1)Those of you who spent and fought before the victory of Mecca are not equal They are greater in rank than those who spent and fought after victory. And to all has Allah already promised the reward of the paradise.(57:10)
2) Mohammad is the Messenger of Allah and those with him are hard against the infidels and tender among themselves you will see them bowing and prostrating themselves in prayer (48:29)
3) as a cultivated field which puts forth its sprout, then strengthened it (48:29)

4) For those poor refugees who were driven out from their homes and their possessions seeking grace of Allah and His pleasure, and helping Allah and His Messenger. They are the truthful.

In this verse Almighty called all muhajir companions as truthful in their faiths and actions.

5) And those who had established their home in this city and in faith from before, love those who emigrated to them, and find not in their breasts, any need for what they have been given and prefer them above their souls, even though they be badly in need of, and whoso is guarded against the avarice of his own soul, those they are the successful. (59:9)

In this verse Almighty testified to faith, courtesy, hospitality and success of all ansaar companions.

6) And those who came after them submit, O our Lord! Forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in the faith, and put not into our hearts any rancor towards those who believe. O our Lord! Undoubtedly, you are the Beneficent the Merciful.(59:10)

In this verse Almighty Allah mentioned the sign of Muslims till the day of judgement, that they pray for all the companions and their hearts are free of hatred towards them. There are three group of muslims, group of muhajireen companions, group of ansaar companions and people truly submitting to them.

A person having malice for companions belongs to which group? Person who keeps hatred for companions is out of all these three groups.

7) And those who believed and emigrated and fought in the way of Allah and those who gave shelter and helped they are true believers. For them is forgiveness and honorable provision. (8:74)

In this verse Almighty announced all muhajireen and ansaar sahaba as true believers and their acceptance in the court of Allah.

8) Undoubtedly, those who lower down their voices in the presence of the messenger of Allah those are they whose hearts Allah has tested for piety. For them is forgiveness and great reward.(49:3)
In this verse Almighty Allah testified the piousness, forgiveness and great reward for the people present in the court of the Prophet i.e. companions.

9) and made incumbent on them the words of righteousness and they were better entitled to it and more worthy of it. And Allah knows everything. (48:26)
from this verse it is known that piousness and purity for companions is as required as light for sun or heat for fire. Just like fire can not be cool and sun can not be black similary no companion can be a transgressor or unjust.

10) And the first and foremost emigrants and helpers and those who followed them with good. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Allah and for them, He has prepared gardens under which rivers flow. This is the great success.(9:100)

In this three things are announced regarding all the companions
* Allah is pleased with them.
* They are pleased with Allah.
* Heaven and all of it has been given to them.

11) Then if they believe too, as you have believed then they are guided, and if they turn back their faces, then they are but in total schism. (2:137)

In this verse it is told that faith of the person who claims to be guided, who keeps faith just like companions had. Faith of companions is a criteria to be a Muslim.

12) And when it is said to them 'believe as others have believed,' they say, 'shall we believe as fools' (2:13)
In this verse it is said that a person who doesn't have faith like companions, is a hypocrite and a fool.Ponder and think about it that, even after presence of these verses, how can a companion be a transgressor and a sinner? May Allah forbid.

Ahadith - The Prophetic narrations

There are numerous traditions narrated about virtues of the companions, we list a few here briefly.

1. Bukhari and Muslim narrate from Abu Sa'eed Khudri that the Prophet said : Do not abuse my companions for if any one of you spent gold equal to Uhud (in Allah's Cause) it would not be equal to a Mud or even a half Mud spent by one of them.

2. Muslim narrated from Abu Musa Ash'arim the Prophet said : The stars are a source of security for the sky, and I am a source of safety and security to my Companions and my Companions are a source of security for the Ummah.

3. Tirmizi narrates from Jabir bin 'Abdullah saying: 'I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: The Fire shall not touch the Muslim who saw me, or saw one who saw me.

4. Muslim and Bukhari narrated from Imran bin Hussain said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'The best of you (people) are my generation, and the second best will be those who will follow them, and then those who will follow the second generation."

5. Tirmizi narrates from Abdullah bin Mughaffal:that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: (Fear) Allah! (Fear) Allah regarding my Companions! Do not make them objects of insults after me. Whoever loves them, it is out of love of me that he loves them. And whoever hates them, it is out of hatred for me that he hates them. And whoever harms them, he has harmed me, and whoever harms me, he has offended Allah, and whoever offends Allah, [then] he shall soon be punished.

6. Razeen narrates from Umar ibn al-Khattab that the Prophet said : “My Companions are like the stars, whichever of them you follow you will be rightly guided”.

7. Tirmizi narrates from Ibn 'Umar: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: If you see those who abuse my Companions, then say: 'May Allah's curse be upon the worst of you.

8. Daylmi narrates from Anas that the Prophet said : When Allah wishes good for someone he create the love for all my companions in his heart.

9. Khateeb and Dar Qutni narrate from Abu Hurairah that, the Prophet said : People will increase and my companions will decrease, so do not abuse my companions.

10. Tibrani and Hakim narrate from Aumeer ibn Sa'idah that the Prophet said: Allah chose me and chose my companions for my company and from them he chose my helpers and ministers. Whosoever abuses them, the curse of Allah, his angels and humans is on him.Allah will not accept his obligatory and voluntary prayers.

Khateeb, Aqeeli, Imam Baghwi, Abu Naeem and Ibn Asakar narrated it with minor change.

11. Dar Qutni narrates from Ali Murtaza, that he said : One group will claim the love of our Ahlul Bait but they will not be like that as they would abuse Abu Bakr & Umar.
This narration has also been transmitted by Fatimah az-Zahrah, Umme Salmah, Ibn Abbas with minor changes.

12. Tibrani and Abu Ya'ala narrates from Anas, that the Prophet said : My companions are like salt in food that food without salt is not perfect. (i.e. no ones faith is perfect without my companions.)

Ahlul Baith - The Pure

Just like The Prophet is leader of all the previous prophets similarly his Ahlul Bait are leader of all Ahlus Sunnah. The companions of the Prophet are leaders of companions of other Prophets, Parents of the Prophet are leader of parents of all the prophet, who were non prophet, The city of the Prophet is better than cities of other prophets, generation of the Prophet is better than generation of other prophets. Actually the virtue depends upon the connection to the Prophet, whosoever connects to the Prophet he becomes virtuos.

Innumerous quranic verses and ahadith have been narrated in the virtue of the Ahlul Bait which we have compiled in our book Fehrisht ul-Quran'

At firts, it is necessary to understand who are Ahlul Bait? Literal meaning of Ahl means 'of' like Ahlul Ilm, Ahlul Daulah, Ahlul Mulk which means people of knowldege, people of wealth and people of land so meaning of Ahlul Bait would be 'People of home'. 'Aal' is made from 'Ahl' and has the same meaning as Aal.

---

Conclusion: At last I would like to present a few guidelines. In sha Allah the faith will remain safe if these guidelines are followed. In this generation, fortunate is the person who leaves this world with complete faith.

Guideline 1 : The necessity of love of Ahlul Bait and Sahabah for faith is like necessity of two wings for a bird or necessity of two wheels for a car. If a person is devoid of any one, he will lose the faith. The Prophet said : All my companions are like starts, whomsoever you follow, you will be guided. The Prophet also said : My Ahlul Bait is like ship of Prophet Nooh, who boarded it is saved and who remained separated, get drown.

Just like to travel in sea, ship is required and pole star etc similarly the traveler of aakhirah require the ship of Ahlul bait and stars of the companions. In sha Allah, Ahlus Sunnah are safe as they have boarded the ship of the Ahlul Bait and follow the companions. <>

Guideline 2: Love of Ahlul Bait and loyalty to the companions mean to love all people of Ahlul bait and respect all the companions of the Prophet. Be aware, enmity towards any one of them is in actual actual enmity of all of them, just like to have faith in all the Prophets is mandatory and rejecting any one of them is disbelief. It necessary to have faith in all if them to be a muslim. Similary for correct faith it is necesary to sacrifice yourself on all the companions and Ahlul Bait of the Prophet.

Whosoever says that in Ahlul Bait, out of 4 daughters of the Prophet, I believe only in one, Fatimah az-Zahrah or says, out of all the wives of the Prophet I believe only in one wife, Khadijah tul-Kubra or says, out of 3 I believe in only in one, Ali, as son in law of the Prophet, or says out of 1.24 lac companions I believe only in 5 - 6 companions and criticize others. Such a person, in reality, doesn't believe in Prophet but instead believes in the person who created this list by his wretched mind.

Some believe in 12 Imams, some in 6 imams and some only in 3 imams! What is this count? Whosoever Muslim saw the Prophet just once is dearest to us.

The creed of Ahlus Sunnah is that, leave aside the honor of the companions and the Ahlul Bait, even the dust of madinah is medicine for wounded hearts and peace for restless hearts. To us, just like shoes of Aisha is crown so is the dust below the feet of Fatimah is kohl of our eyes.

Just like Abu Bakr is first caliph, so is Ali, the last caliph and distributer of Wilayah to Auliyah. True essence of the love of the Prophet is that we love all the things which has connection with him.
Majnoon love the dog of the street of Laylah and momin loves the thorn of the city of the Prophet. What does momin has to do with these lists?

3rd Guideline: whatever fault sahaba did before accepting islam and the mistakes they made after accepting islam are all forgiven by Almighty Allah. Now memtioning these with the intention of dishonor is against sound belief. Abu Sufyan before accepting Islam fought many wars with the Prophet. Wahshi killed Hamzah before acceprting islam. Hindah, the wife of Abu Sufyan, desecrated the body of Ameer Hamzah. They all became believers later and the prophet himself forgave them and bestowed with honor and wealth. So who are we to whine? Are we more pained by them than the Prophet? Just like Prophets made (judgemental) mistakes. Brothers of Yusuf made mistake but Quran and Sunnah announced thier forgiveness. Zulaykha had bad intention but even her forgiveness was declared. We don't have the right to mention the mistakes of these personages with an intention to reproach them and corrupt our faith. We should not look at their mistakes but at their connections. We should not look at what brothers of Yusuf or Zulaykha did and what Abu Sufyan, Wahshi & Ameer muaviyah did? instead we should look at, that borthers of Yusuf are sons of a Prophet and brothers of a Prophet, Zulaykha is wife of a prophet. Abu Sufyan and Wahshi are companions of the Prophet and better than all the auliyah & ulema and leaders of ummah.

4th Guideline : It is better that we do not discuss the about the differences and conflicts between the companions at all. If it is required to mention these, we must cite them utmost respect as Quran testifies their righteousness. We are not more informed than Almighty Allah and the Prophet. Almighty has testified of them being faithful and people of paradise, even after knowing all these incidents.

If there happens to be a conflict between our father and uncle, it would be our duty to respect both of them. They would reunite but we would be embarrassed from both sides due to dishonoring them. Ameer Muaviyah and Ali would be in paradise like brothers, why should be blacken our face by saying bad about any one of them? Last verdict of faith is that : Degree belongs to Ali and forgiveness of Ali. Whole Ahlus SUnnah is unanimous on this.

5th guideline: It is obligatory on every muslim to honor and respect the Sadaats and should understand that these are the children of our Prophet, from whom we recieved our Kalimah, our faith and Quran and even Almighty Rahman.
We can never replay their rights. There are many virtues in this blessed and pure lineage. They are children of the leader of the Prophets and Almighty is kind to the people with pious ancestors.
and theirfather was a noble man (18:82)

Zakat and Sadqa-e-Wajibah are prohibited for them as it is unclean. All communities can go astray but all the sayyeds can never go astray, as they are great grand children of Ibrahim and he prayed for his children as : 'O Our Lord! Make us submissive to You and of our offspring a nation submissive to You (2:128)

Imam Mahdi would also be a Syed and Prophet Isa will pray behind him. He will fill the world with equity and justice. We convey blessings in our every salah, on sadaats.
<Allahumma Salley Ala Muhammadin Wa Alaa Aale Muhammadin>

It is mentioned in Swaiq Muhariqah, though physical caliphate shifted away from Ahlul Bait but spritual caliphate will remain in Sadaats till the day of Qiyamah, hence Qutub ul-Aqtab of every generation will always be a Syed. Sadaat are solid mountains of Allah as Imam Jafar Sadiq said. The respect and honor of Sadat is first and foremost pillar of Islam so much that even if a Syed commints a sin, we will term that sin as bad but not the Syed. If a syed is brought to islamic governor for a sin which calls for a religious punishment, then he must order it with the intention that the prince's feet is soiled and he is cleaning it. In short, the sadaats must be highly respected.

I have written a separate booklet on the virtues of pure and pious lineage of Sadaat named as <al kalam ul-Maqbul fi Sharafati nasbir Rasool>. (You may) refer to that.
